This spice takes its name from Yassa, a beloved Senegalese dish that’s now enjoyed across West Africa. Traditionally, Yassa is made by marinating meat, poultry, or fish in a vibrant blend of lemon, Dijon mustard, vinegar, crushed pepper, salt, ginger, garlic, and onion.
We’ve brought those classic flavors together and elevated them with orange peel, paprika, lime, and red and green bell peppers, creating a convenient, all-in-one seasoning. The result? A rich, balanced blend that transforms your Yassa and any marinade into a truly standout, restaurant-quality dish.
