Eid's morning... We wake up around 6:00 AM and start getting ready to go pray at the mosque. While everyone's getting ready, one of us rushes to the kitchen to put the lakh together.  The "lakh" is a special porridge made with millet flour. Once it's almost cooked, we usually add some dry fruits, butter and nutmeg. That perfume of flavors would always get to us as soon as we get back home from the prayers!  The lakh is generally served on big occasions. It is most of the time served with a flavorful mix of yogurt.

The recipe of that mixture of butter and spices was reproduced to add that little magic and perfume to your desserts this year. All the ingredients you would need are all combined in this golden jar. This one was specially made for our non-vegan friends. This airy and fluffy spread has been specially made and whipped to allow you to store it  for 2-3 months in the refrigerator.

Ingredients: Palm, Soybean, Canola, and Extra Virgin Oils; Water, Salt, Defatted Soy Flour, Soy lecithin, Lactic Acid, Annatto, Nutmeg, Sugar, Brown Sugar, Pure Vanilla from Madagascar, Ginger, and Cinnamon.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • The weight counts an ice pack included in the package to keep the freshness of the mixture;
  • Shake well and refrigerate upon receipt!
